Early in the morning of September 5, 2014 the LAPD was in pursuit of driver-suspect of Grand Theft Auto that began on Alvarado and Scott Ave. in Echo Park, Los Angeles.
Twitter user OnBunkerHill213, who is known to report on police activity in the area, shared a recording of the police radio that occurred during the pursuit. Many local streets in Echo Park are mentioned as the police go on a back-and-forth with the dispatcher. A black male suspect was identified once he went on foot, and a perimeter was established in the area.

Later in the day, the LAPD confirmed that the suspect was apprehended, via Twitter.
